The highquality restoration was finished a few years ago and the car has seen very little use since. It was regularly detailed top and bottom and stored in a climatecontrolled facility since completion. The only major deviation from the by the book restoration was the installation of a 4.11 gearset in place of the original 3.55s just to make it that much more fun to drive. Nice car doesnt even begin to describe it.The restoration was carried out to the highest standards using all the correct components hoses fasteners and clamps. Although the fender tag suggests that the expected build date was October 13 1969 the original door VIN decal indicates that the car was actually built sometime in November 1969. As a result all the pieces on the car are properly datecoded prior to this. The engine casting date is 51969 the transmission assembly date is 10969 and the engine assembly date is 102269. All 7 of the critical VINs on the car match and we have a clear copy of the original broadcast sheet to go with it. This car is the real deal.The color combination Blue Fire Iridescent over a Bright Blue interior is currently believed to be 1of6 and its absolutely stunning in the flesh. Even with the black vinyl top this car seems to glow in the sunlight. Bodywork and prep are flawless with super straight body gaps between every panel. The chrome is deep and wavefree and all the stainless trim has been polished to a mirrorlike shine. It sports 15inch Rallye wheels with a correct set of F6015 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires that give it just the right look.Underneath it is 100 detailed for show. The original floors are as flawless and glossy as the body the lines hoses and clips are correct and the suspension is allnew.
