Our driver is Khudar Elhaouli who shows a dedication to his sport and his vehicle like no other. Khudar has been competitively racing in drift for 3 years. He débuted in the Super Drift Series at Eastern Creek in round 3, 2006. With the sponsorship of JDS Auto Imports he stepped up to the Toyo Drift Australia Series for round 4 and drove an RX-7 with limited power and only minor modifications, showing his ability to compete at a high level.
In May 2007 Khudar finished 1st at Winton in the Vic Drift competition beating a star class field. His final battle was incredibly exciting and showed what a first class driver Khudar is.
In June 2007 Khudar also finished 1st at Baskerville Raceway in Tasmanian Drift event beating out 50 other competitors. After extensive modifications to the vehicle and driving practice the hard work and dedication shown by Khudar is finally paying off.
2007 has seen Khudar and the JDS S13 step up in the National Drift Australia Competition with a 4th in Round 3 at Eastern Creek Raceway and a Podium finish coming third at Queensland Raceway, Round 4. Khudar finished the 2007 series ranked 11th and we are looking forward and very confident to the upcoming 2008 series.
On completion of the 2007 Toyo Drift Australia Series Khudar packed his bags and headed to Japan for a month. Here he spent time with some D1 drivers and practiced at a number of tracks including Niko Circuit and Ebisu.
Khudar entered some local events. During his time there he learnt and polished many skills and is looking forward to applying them in 2008. Khudar is looking at taking his LS2 powered Silvia to Japan to compete again in 2008.

Khudar is one of only thirty-two seeded drives who have been guaranteed a spot in the 2008 series. This is due to his exceptional driving ability and the backing of his team and car.
The car is being displayed in High Performance Imports and Zoom magazines. Due to its uniqueness the Nissan Silvia has begun to develop a cult drawing and a huge amount of interest throughout the Drift Australia series. From the moment it enters the gates on event day it draws a crowd of devoted followers. The Nissan Silvia is the only one of its kind in the world.
Due to the distinctiveness of this vehicle it has taken a lot of testing and tuning to get it driving at its peak. The car is set to be one of the top performers for the 2008 Toyo Drift Australia series.
Future Upgrades to the S13 Silvia Drift Car
The future holds some exciting changes for the JDS drift team car. The vehicle will undergo a suspension upgrade to assist in better transfer of the power pushed out by the current engine as well as the removal of current IRS rear suspension and upgrade to solid axle suspension with Hiace Rear Diff. This will include a total adjustment of rear diff for different styles and speed of drift event.
For the 2009 Toyo Drift Australia Series the engine will be upgraded to an LS2 engine with a 7.0 Litre Stoker kit direct from the US with between 400 – 450kw at the wheels.
A fully sequential dog box will be fitted for the next season for quicker changes and to get more power to the ground while coping with the added power of the new engine.
The chassis will be fully seam welded with Roll cage being run through the engine bay for added support. The front end will be tubbed and boxed to achieve extra steering lock on large rims.
As with any race prepped car we are constantly working and fine tuning the vehicle to optimize the power available and also the safety of the driver.
