| Description: | The restoration on this 1964 Pontiac Le Mans was completed about a year ago. The 2stage Silvermist Gray paint looks spectacular on the Le Mans simple shape. The bodywork was professionally done and panel alignment is above average and certainly better than factory new. The trim is a combination of original stuff and rechromed bits. The 326 engine was rebuilt and upgraded with a 4barrel carburetor the original 2barrel unit is included with the car. It is a matchingnumbers piece correctly detailed in a coat of Pontiac Turquoise paint. The detailing in the engine compartment is first rate from the chrome plated air cleaner and valve covers to the cadmium plated pulleys and power brake booster. The columnshifted 3speed automatic is a ready and willing partner. If youre under the car youll see the transmission as well as superclean floors and highly detailed other bits and pieces. New lines and hoses were used throughout the braking system and the exhaust system is a brand new reproduction dual setup. Theres a 3.36 gear in place of the 2.93 that came from the factory. The original Pontiac hubcaps cover 14inch steel wheels wearing BFGoodrich redline radials.Inside the new Parchment vinyl bucket seat interior looks great. The seat covers are bright with a new carpet set underfoot and fresh door panels. Overhead theres a taut white headliner and the dash features sharp gauges that look like new. In the trunk youll find a new trunk mat matching spare tire and wheel as well as a restored jack kit. The power antenna has been rebuilt.Included is a file of restoration receipts a PHS package that includes the window sticker build sheet and press releases.
